Ganpatipule Beach

Ganpatipule is a popular beach on konkan coast. Its around 420kms south of Mumbai.

The beach is mostly known for the Ganpati temple located just off shore. The ganpati idol is a swayambu one – swayambu means present before time.

Route: NH-17 till Nivli Phata and SH to Ganpatiphule.

No. of days trip: 2 but can be split into 3 for sight seeing of near by places.

Food: Only veg diet is available. Non – veg eaters will get something on the Nivli phata.

Stay: There are a lot of hotels in Ganpatiphule from cheap to luxury accomodations. Even the MTDC tents are a treat.

But during season finding accommodation can be difficult. Its best if you book in advance or carry portable tents.

My Trip to Ganpatiphule was quite an experience. We had to sleep on the reception counter as no accommodation was available.

Its fun to ride on NH-17 keeping destination Ganpatiphule. So have this beach on your list of places to see in Maharashtra on your motorbike.

Get in touch with me if you want to discuss anything or want to ask something about this place.

Cheers,

Om Vaikul
