Guhagar Beach

Guhagar is a famous beach on the konkan coast. Its just 40kms from Chiplun town. A perfect place to ride weekend.

Route NH- 17 till Chiplun and then SH to Guhagar.

The road goes right on the beach. Although riding on the beach is not easy. But its fun to take your bike right till the water. I recommend this only if you have practice of riding on sand.

The stay options at Guhagar are not that good. Its best to stay at chiplun and feast in guhagar.

Distance from Mumbai: Guhagar is around 300kms.

There is no petrol pump in Guhagarh so its best that you fuel up at Chiplun.

Also guhargar is never crowed. So there is no season time. You can try this one on any weekend.

There is also boating options just 10kms before Guhagar on the Chiplun – Guhagar patch.

Near by places: You must visit the Enron Plant near Guhagar beach. Its port stretches 5kms into the sea.

Its open for visitors only on Saturdays.

Warnings: Its better to avoid riding in the night around Guhagar.
